Abby Rosenberg Johnson, M.D.

Dr. Johnson is a board-certified dermatologist who grew up in Chicagoland and pursued her medical education at Washington University School of Medicine. Alongside earning a Masters of Population Health Sciences, she completed her dermatology residency, culminating as Chief Resident. Her research garnered her the prestigious James Henry Yalem Prize for her work, notably focusing on the health-related quality of life among patients battling melanoma and other invasive cancers. Her contributions extend beyond dermatology, delving into shared decision-making for patients, notably featured in the journal JAMA Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Johnson has co - authored publications with dermatologists from Harvard University and the department head at Washington University in St. Louis. In addition, she has published scholarly articles in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, Journal of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, and the British Journal of Dermatology.

In addition to her practice at St. Louis Dermatology Center, she also devotes her expertise to the Veterans Affairs dermatology clinic, where she mentors residents and medical students. Additionally, Dr. Johnson actively participates in the American Academy of Dermatology. In her free time, Dr. Johnson enjoys painting, traveling, watching college sports, and playing pickleball with her husband and their families.


 

Osamuede Osemwota, M.D.

Dr. Osemwota is a board-certified dermatologist who grew up in Alabama and trained at Washington University in St. Louis. As a former Fulbright Scholar, she conducted research on novel treatments for HIV/AIDS and obtained a Master's Degree in Oncology from the Université Paris-Sud XI École Doctorale De Cancérologie. She has completed research at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation, studying the role of a specific enzyme important in skin development. She has completed preceptorships with internationally renowned Dermatologists through competitive grants at Columbia University, the Center for Dermatology in Washington D.C. and at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She has given talks at the American Academy for Dermatology as well as Dermatology Grand Rounds at Washington University in St. Louis, University of North Carolina and the University of Alabama at Birmingham. In her spare time, Dr. Osemwota enjoys biking with her rambunctious boys and doing acroyoga with her husband.

 

Rachel Heet

Rachel  is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She was born and raised in South St. Louis County. She completed a Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management with a minor in Psychology from Saint Louis University. While attending SLU she was also a student athlete with the softball program. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Barnes Jewish Goldfarb School of Nursing and Master’s degree in Science in Nursing/ Family Nurse Practitioner from Saint Louis University.  For 6 years she worked as an oncology nurse at Barnes Jewish Hospital. She has been working with Dr. Osemwota for over 10 years. She is a member of the American Nurses Association. In her free time, she enjoys home projects and outdoor activities with her husband, daughter and dog.  

 

Hayley Jurek

Hayley  is a board certified Nurse Practitioner who was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at St. Louis University and subsequently earned her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) at Loyola University-Chicago. Hayley is approaching 10 years of experience in the nursing profession. She is an avid sports fan and a former collegiate soccer player. In a spare time she enjoys spending time with her two children and husband, a Nebraskan native. Hayley has trained under Dr. Osemwota to gain expertise in treating acne, hyperpigmentation and hair loss in ethnic skin, as well as an expertise in treating non melanoma skin cancers.


 

Eghe Lenze

Eghe is a board eligible Nurse Practitioner and soon to be the newest member of the St. Louis Dermatology team. She attended Purdue University Nursing Program where she graduated with the highest honors. She worked as cardiac nurse before pursing her passion in dermatology.  During her tenure at Community Hospital she was recognized by her peers and patients as nurse of the year. Her focus is treating hair loss in addition to cosmetic procedures such as dermal filler and laser therapy. She is a mother of twins and enjoys camping in her spare time.
